Steffy White

Thank you to everyone who made 2016 such a memorable one – the year I launched my business and brought you my very own magical @whitelightyoga retreats✨ Every new year I wonder, how can this immensely satisfying and fulfilling life continue, what if this year is really hard, or what if it is all over?…and then I catch myself and surreneder to what is. Life just is. You are the key to it all. The satisfaction. There is no point in worrying if things will continue, fail or succeed, none of us are in control of that. But what we do have control over is how we choose to live. And I choose to be here now, live boldly and from my heart with compassion for others and with a great sense of direction from the fact that there is always a bigger picture. My life isn't perfect, nor do I ever expect it to be, but I am so grateful for everything that is, and most importantly every one I share it with❤ Happy new year everyone!!!!! I am so excited to share special moments with you all in 2017✨

Joanne Encarnacion

The one thing people don't tell you when you get started in a #fitnessjourney is how you might get injured along the way and that injury might get to your head and start to fill you with self doubt. ??‍♀️??‍♀️ I started back in the summer of 2013 and things were amazing. I didn't have any injuries or issues with moving my body except for the occasional onset of laziness because #shithappens. ?? In 2015 I injured my shoulder. Then in 2016 my left glute muscle wanted to be stubborn and not fire and engage during my strength training sessions. And you know me I'm all about ? gains…Now I’m stepping into 2017 with clicking noises in my knees. Like seriously WTF! What I'm learning while in @nutritionschool is that often times the physical issues/illnesses is caused by an imbalance in the body. Working your body hard without adequate amount of recovery can and will cause you injuries. ? Despite all these minor physical setbacks, I’m making sure that my mindset is on ? to avoid going through a step back. We all have setbacks, we're human. You didn't fail, it's ??. Learn about how I'm preventing my injuries from getting worse with #dynamover and the ONE thing I'm terrible at #ontheblog #spons (link is in my profile) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ pc ?: @encarnacionphotography
