SLAY LIKE BAE: BBMAs

Just because the MET Gala’s over, doesn’t mean it’s time to pack away your occasionwear. Nuh uh, this week all eyes have been firmly fixed on the Billboard Music Awards, and we’re running down the best Billboard Music Awards 2018 beauty + hair trends we’ve seen. This is on a need to know basis.

Our Favourite Billboard Music Awards 2018 Beauty + Hair Trends

The Billboard Music Awards (or BBMAs – cos, you know, typing that every time takes a lot), are know for going full glam. Every year the glam squads behind our fave babes bring the good stuff and this year all the celebs were serving golden style.

Hailey Baldwin

Hailey Baldwin’s BBMA beauty was all about the golden glow. Her makeup artist Vincent Oquendo used head to toe Vita Liberta products to make sure she looked like a queen as she strutted down the red carpet. (We’ve dropped the products he used down below to make sure you can get that glow too).

We’re also obsessed with her lob hairstyle made perf’ by her stylist Florido. We don’t have the deets on the products used just yet, but the moment we know we’ll drop the links down below too.

Dua Lipa

Eighties realness was obvs Dua Lipa’s theme LN. We’re here for her massive shoulder pads, but it’s all about her makeup.

Bold brows are the main focus weith subtle lengthening false eyelashes and winged liner making sure there’s a lil drama. We’d totally pick up the phone to her subtle shimmer lip gloss too. The nude tones make sure her makeup isn’t too in your face, and tones down the eighties trend to make it totally 2018.

She keeps her hair in line by straightening it and finishing off with a strong hold hairspray as opposed to a gel to make sure it’s not looking too cakey.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande made sure we had some tears left to cry as we got emotional over the levels of slay she was serving. As always, she rocked a sleek high ponytail. Recreate the look yourself with Beauty Works hair extensions, with a wide range of shades to suit your style.

Camila Cabello

She has arrived! Hi, @camila_cabello! 😍#CAMILA_BBMAs

Camila Cabello went for old school Hollywood glam on the red carpet this year. A smokey eye complimented her slightly blown out up do, which we’d achieve by using a cool setting on a hairdryer and products specifically formulated for volume.

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato’s Billboard Music Awards 2018 makeup look was all about bronzer. Accentuating contour with extra bronzer on the contours of the cheeks and across the forehead, this is a look we’re totally planning to replicate throughout summer and beyond.

Normani

We actually can’t deal with the level of perfection. Normani killed the red carpet with her golden eyeshadow, perf’ for adding a lil sparkle to her outfit. Normani’s MUA worked gold and black toned eyeshadows together and finished off with a winged liner for just the right amount of drama. Obsessed.

Bebe Rexha

Going back home to @bear_rexha Thank you @bbmas for having me. Xoxo

Just look at the levels of sass Bebe Rexha is serving. As far as Billboard Music Awards hair trends go, clearly a platinum top knot is just the thing. We love this slightly messy bun on top of her head, adding a little casual to her glam AF outfit.

Check our top knot essentials below.

Jenna Dewan

Billboard Awards- ‘twas such a fun night!!! Thank you for having me! #bbmas

Another fan of a shorter hairstyle, we’re actually obsessed with Jenna Dewan’s bob haircut.

Wanna make the cut yourself? Make sure you invest in some super hydrating products to keep your cut looking sharp. We’re in love with Redken RN, ‘cos their professional quality products are everything we need.

Christina Aguilera

Um, could @xtina be any more gorgeous?! 😍 #XTINADEMI_BBMAs

Xtina clearly means business. We love this off the shoulder pinstipe dress, which was complimented by barely there makeup. Channel your inner pop queen with our edit of the best nude lip products below.
