I have always been lucky and had good skin but that was until I reached mid-twenties. All those spots that had been holding back for years decided to come out - with a vengeance! I really had a nightmare with my skin for a couple of years!! This is when I was introduced to Elemis by my sister. I started to use Elemis face wash and also their Pro-Collagen Marine cream. With just using it for two weeks, my spots cleared and my skin was back to normal! That was six months ago and I haven’t looked back since. This is definitely my favourite moisturiser by far. Yes it is pricey, but a little does go a long way and 100mls should last you approx. 6 months. My sister has been using this moisturiser for over two years and her skin is amazing! People always guess her age at least seven years younger. Maybe the anti-ageing property of this cream really is working!! One thing to note is that this does not have any built in SPF so it is very important to use sun protection; I personally use SPF 30 on daily basis. You should really be wearing SPF even if your moisturiser does have built in SPF. The second part of the super duo is the Skin Bliss Capsules -sufficient for a month use. In the jar there are 30 rose capsules to use in the morning and 30 lavender capsules to use in the evening. They really should be used daily however I use them for those “pick-me-up” times when my skin feels tired due to my bad living habits. The serum in the capsules is to be worn under your moisturiser and that really isn’t a problem as it is easily absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. However, to ensure full absorption, I do leave approx. 5 mins intervals between serum and moisturiser application. The rose capsules are great to wake you up in the morning but my fav are the lavender capsules in the night. After cleansing and toning face thoroughly I apply my lavender capsules which smell divine (even though I am not really a lavender fan) and wake up in the morning with a glowing face! The duo is well worth the money as a jar of 100mls Marine cream is worth as much as the price of the duo. So really you are getting the capsules as a free bonus. Now I have introduced two of my friends to Elemis Pro collagen marine cream and they are loving it too!!
