Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day

Sunday 11th March 2018 marks Mother’s Day, so it’s important to consider how you spend it. If you’re feeling uninspired, here at HQhair we’ve put together a few quick tips on ways to celebrate Mother’s Day that’ll fit any budget!

Ways To Celebrate Mother’s Day

Breakfast in Bed

One of the simplest things you can do for Mother’s Day is make her some breakfast and bring it to her in bed. This option is especially useful for anyone with a packed schedule who may have to run off to work! Cook a full breakfast or simply whip up some pancakes to show your appreciation.

Day Out Together

If you both have the day to yourselves, why not go on a day out? You could go out for a meal, do some shopping, go to a spa, or even re-visit somewhere you used to go together when you were younger. The quality time will make some great memories to look back on for years to come.

Home-Spa Day

Alternatively, you could stock up on face masks, nail varnish and candles and make your own home-spa experience. You can pick out your favourite products, give each other manicures and pedicures and pop a film or some music on for a chilled out day in.

Small Break

Have any of you been bitten by the travel bug? If so, use Mother’s Day as an opportunity to book a little getaway! Take the time to head off to somewhere new and go exploring for a day or two either in the country or on a quick flight.

Family Get-Together

If you don’t get a lot of time to spend with your entire family, why not organise a get-together? Book a table at a local restaurant or invite everyone over and order in a takeaway. Making the effort to have quality time with your family will be appreciated by your mum, plus you can all look back on old memories or photo albums.
