NARS Cosmetics Mascara Larger Than Life Volumizing

I placed great hopes in this mascara, because it promises superior eyelash extension. Well, I was wrong. I have natural long eyelashes, but I want them longer. This mascara doesn’t extend them at all. I have a lot of experience in the field of mascaras (quality ones, of course), I thougt this would be one great lengthening mascara. If you have short eyelashes and you need/want very good lengthening mascara, don’t go for that one (I extremely recommend Cannonball from Urban Decay, it also contains fibres for extra volume and length – it is my favourite, really, it’s also WP). This NARS mascara is also very wet, I have it now about 3 weeks and it should be more dry for better using. I’m disappointed.

This mascara will hold a curl like nothing else. But i really feel that it should been markeded as waterproof. It is impossible to get of. Even with a good makeup remover. For this reason I will not repurchase this mascara. It is ashame, because, it is a really good mascara.

I love Nars Larger than Life Volumising mascara. I have always looked for a mascara that doesn't clump, smudge, is waterproof but comes off when I want it to, and Nars ticks all the boxes with this one.

I liked it! The formula is very dry, which makes it harder to apply, but also, it stays on the lashes, without staining my under-eye area. It looks natural, not really volumising, like Estee Lauder Double Wear. But I like natural style. However, the brush doesn't comb the lashes in a pretty pattern. That adds to the natural style, so that isn't so disturbing. I always prefer mascaras where the core of the brush is a wire that bends. I like applying my mascara with a bent wand. It might get dry and useless in less time than other mascaras. Overall, I like it, but I would like it to comb my lashes pretty.
