If you have fine fragile hair that lacks body and is prone to snapping due to chemical processes then this is an absolute must. I am a hairdresser and recommend this all the time . Hair is stronger & fuller. use twice a week.

My hair is a mix of Nordic and African hair types, and although I have nice curls it also means my hair is not of the strongest type. Since I like to keep it in a neon blue shade I have to bleach it white all the time. In the first months, my hair looked like a pile of blue hay and nothing I did could get the curls back. Then a hairdresser friend gave me a tip about Redken Extreme Cat Treatment, and now my curls are better than ever, even before I started bleaching and dying it! I have a routine where I wash my hair with shampoo, spray it on to every bit of my hair and massage it in thoroughly. I then wait five minutes, spray and massage again, and I then repeat this a third time after five new minutes. I do not wash the spray out again at any point. I then put on a heavy moisturising hair mask and sleep with it for a night. The morning after I wash out both the CAT and the mask, and use a quality conditioner. My hair feels instantly stronger, is much less prone to breakage, and it brings the structure back to my curls. This is a protein treatment and won't give your hair moisture. Its not supposed to be a substitute for conditioner or moisturising masks, only complement them! Always use a good conditioner afterwards. If your hair is weak and frail by nature, or from colouring and/or bleaching then you probably need this!

I use this regularly as my hair is coloured, it has lots of grey which means I don't want to stop colouring but over time it has become overprocessed & suffers from dryness & breakage. This is the only stuff I have ever found that transforms it back into hair when it gets bad. It is not a conditioner, it is a treatment & after rinsing you really need to put a good conditioner on it to get the full benefit.

Redken was always one of favourite hair care products. My hair looks shiny, light and very healthy. Now very mature I am hoping with time this will really add strength.

I've used this in alternate to my regular conditioner. It doesn't offer much in the way of moisture or detangling, but does leave my fine, bleached hair feeling soft, strong and shiny. The only down fall is the grip of the bottle, it's very slippy with wet hands and always ends up slipping away and flying against the walls.

Hair definitely feels smoother and stronger after using Redken Extreme Cat Treatment for a week. Only thing I am unhappy with is I have already used a quarter of the bottle so I don't think it is going to last long, especially since it was expensive.
