A bit dissappointed
After the good write ups I had read about this and Butter London's description of the polish, I was really expecting to like this polish. However, although I am a fan of their polishes generally, this won't be one of my favourites. The application was a little gloopy but I managed to get it streak free in two coats so that was a plus. However the colour is something and nothing, somewhere between a neutral, a beige, grey and a mauve depending on the light. Its not as interesting as their Fash Pack which is darker, or their All Hail the Queen which is similar tone colour but more honeyed and with a pretty shimmer. I kept looking at it for two days and still couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. I think its just a bit blah! Ok for the office I suppose but not "universally flattering" or very interesting - different, yes, attractive? - you decide! I think if I want to wear something different I would go for something a bit stronger than this, and if I wanted a neutral, then there are more flattering/pretty colours than this. Its just a bit of an odd colour. My skintone is very fair, if that helps, so perhaps its just my skintone its not working for? But I think its more my taste..!
