Great application, with a lovely glossy appearance even before the top coat. one coat covered well but looked better after second coat.The best grey polish i have found.

I have Nars Nail Varnish in Trouville. It's amazing shade for summer holidays - light peachy pink. I love it, it goes great with the tan. Packing is very sophisticated. What I didn't like is the application - it takes at least 3 coats for full coverage, that's why i took one star off.

Nars nailpolish

This is the first Nars nailpolish I have bought and I love it. The colour (storm bird) is beautiful, to me the perfect grey. Base coat, two layers of nailpolish and top coat lasts me about a week without any chipping. I would definitely buy nailpolish from Nars again! Mag

Very happy with this product. The colour is very stylish and will be used more so once winter arrives, although it wouldn't look out of place now!!! (Great British Weather)!! I did find i needed two coats but very few chips even after a few days

Storm Bird

I bought this nail polish in Storm Bird, a new light grey colour. At first I wasn't sure if I really liked it or not as I'd seen darker or other grey shades that I preferred, but after a while it really grew on me. For even and smooth application I did between 2 and 3 coats and I had to wait a while between coats as it is fairly runny. I keep it in the fridge as the contents of the bottle look as they may be slightly separating from time to time, but in the fridge it stays fresh and lovely. I think it will look really professional and elegant when I wear it for office work in the next few months.

Nice enough but not special for the price...

I hadn' t tried NARS polish before, and I do like to try some of the higher end polishes for their more interesting colours and good finishes so after seeing the new "Trouville" colour for this summer I decided to give this a go. Firstly, the good - it is a pretty, corally pink colour, lovely for summer. It has lasted well on my toes for a good few days so far although it did not do any better than other polishes on my hands, only 24 hours, but that is nothing unusual for me. Not so good - this polish is very thin and too runny for my preference. It took three coats to be acceptably opaque and even then I think it could have done with a fourth. This isn't even a pale colour! Not good enough for a polish this pricey IMHO I would have expected it to be more pigmented and less streaky at this price, especially comparing it to, say, Butter London polishes that are opaque and finished in two coats unless they are the very pale colours. So would I recommend it? Only if you are really, really in love with the colour and don't mind layering up the coats!

I love Nars. Their polishes are very high quality with no 'nasties'. The colours are gorgeous and tend to be quite unique. The newest addition, Diamond Life, a metallic mauve, is beautiful and my partner loves it. The polishes do tend to take a little longer to fully dry than some other brands. However, it is worth the wait as the polishes have great staying power.

Colour so divine

I love the nail varnish from Nars. I only needed one coat of Galion and it stayed on for days before chipping. The shade is exactly what I was looking for too.
