Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - Various Shades

misleading.

I find this Nars Sheer Glow Foundation to be quite misleading. There's hardly anything sheer or glowy about it. I expected this to give me a sheer and glowy finish but instead it's more matte with a medium coverage instead of a sheer one. It does give me good coverage and makes my skin look flawless but because it's so matte I'm not using it anymore.

This is my second nars sheer glow foundation and I have yet to find anything better! This foundation gives a natural finish to my skin and its not drying like some foundations I've used before. Love it!

completely satisfied

First of all, the shipping free delivery to Germany is a very special service and the foundation arrived just a few days after placing my order. That is amazing. To the foundation: The color Mont Blanc matches my skin perfectly. It is a very easy to blend foundation and the coverage is about medium. Unfortunately it does not cover my hyperpigmentation completely, but it makes my skin look more even and the finish is really pretty. It lasts very well. This is one of my three favorite foundations, with the others being Make up for ever and Dior airflash. Overall I am very pleased with the order handling and the foundation performance.

I have used this foundation for at least two years ... I found it difficult to get a shade close to my skin tone ... But the nars matches up quite well.. It's very light ... Compared to mac ones which are very heavy .. I like my skin tone to show thru and this does that ... My bottle lasts me at least a year too as you don't need to put much of this on I don't even need co concealer when wearing this as it looks quite natural but at the same time can build the coverage up on problem areas ... Use the sheer matte one for heavier coverage and for Oily skin ... Or this one for neat perfect skin

Excellent product

I really like this foundation. It gives a nice coverage and stays put throughout the whole day. My skin has recently been suffering and this doesn't cling onto my dry patches. However I did stupidly order the wrong shade but no worries I have made it work. Couldn't recommend it enough

Siberia - Perfect Colour Match

The first foundation I've ever tried which actually matches my skintone. It blends so well and feels very nice on the skin. The foudnation does not need to be set with a powder which is good because I have dry skin and I don't like using powder. The foundation does not cling to dry patches either, at least not on my skin. It lasts all day and does not need to be reapplied. The finish is not as glowy as I expecte it to be but more of a natural to a satin finish. I don't mind that at all. Also the coverage can be sheered out but with one pump I get a light to medium coverage on my face. I love this foundation and I would repurchase it. I also would it recommend for very fair and pale skintones.

Really good foundation

I used the shade stromboli before and now changed to barcelona. The colours are similar, not a huge difference. I found stromboli too yellow. Barcelona is ok for my medium tan. Thwarting foundation is really good, also for acne skin. It doesn't irritate.

a product ill return to again and again

This foundation is an all rounder. Its buildable so covers blemishes, gives a dewy finish without looking sweaty or oily, matches a whole range of skin tones and lasts all day. (Even longer when you wear the Nars Primer underneath). The only thing i would mention is when it dries it will darken a little so be sure to get a slightly lighter colour than your skin. Also, its easy to waste this foundation due to the screw top, just be sure to pour too little out than too much as with a high price tag this is not ideal. All in all - love it. My main beauty product.

Best Colour Match

This is the perfect colour match for my very pale skin. I have yellow undertones and quite a lot of redness in my cheeks and bought the foundation in the shade Siberia. I have struggled for so long to find a foundation pale enough for me and this blends in seamlessly and with no effort. I am thrilled! However this foundation is not sheer at all. It has a good medium coverage which is buildable. Of course you can sheer it out while applying it. I wouldn't describe the finish as dewy or glowy but more velvety. The foundation does not cling to dry patches, is easy to blend and does not wear off during the day.

Fantastic foundation (pls add the pump!)

This is a great foundation if you like a natural look. It is not sheer as the name suggests (not even close to a tinted moisturiser) but light to medium coverage. I am very pale and I usually struggle to find the right colour with other brands but not with NARS: Gobi is perfect (and there are even paler shades). Easy to apply with fingers and foundation brush. 4 stars as it has an OK staying power (not all day though) and it does not come with a pump.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation looked a tad too light for me in the bottle, but it's just the right shade after applying. It gives really great coverage, and makes you look flawless. The finish is not matte, but not dewy either - it's something in the middle. The staying power is okay.

love really pale colors

I got the Nars Sheer Glow in light 01 siberia 4 weeks ago and must say that I am impressed how light the color is. The foundation goes on nicely and has a good medium coverage, leaving the skin looking very natural. This is supposed to be for dry skin and I can't see why, because in the areas of my face that are very dry (mainly cheeks). It went so patchy that it was very obvious I was wearing foundation. In total I like the Nars sheer glow, because of its colour and coverage but it doesn't give me that glowing finish (more satin-matte) and is perhaps more of a summer time foundation for me, when my skin is not as dry. For the price I don't know if I would buy this again.

Love Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, its very build able so you can actually choose the coverage and I think it really is the first time that people didn't notice i was wearing make up as the colour looks great on my skin, i will definitely repurchase.

I ordered the nars sheer glow foundation based on reviews I read on the internet only, since there are no Nars products in my country. The foundation meets up to what it promises, providing a light-medium coverage and dewy glow finish. The only down side is that I have you apply it immediately after a put my moisturiser, if I don't it's very hard to spread it out with hands or brush.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is the perfect foundation for my skin. It's the perfect colour match. I only need a tiny amount for build-able coverage. I have combination skin. Even though this foundation is sheer, it isn't greasy or shiny on my skin. This foundation is also long wearing.

Excellent Product

All I can say is that I spend most of my money on make up as it is my passion and I have tried everything and Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is an excellent product! You won't be cross at yourself for purchasing even with its price tag. Beautiful satin finish with medium to buildable coverage. Not cakey and along with good concealer even acne sufferers, as I used to have acne I believe would be very happy with this I'm sure! Hope this helps!

Best foundation!

After wanting this foundation for ages, I finally bought it a couple of months ago! I'm so happy that I did. I have very, very pale skin and even though I buy the lightest shades most foundations leave me looking a little orange. Mont Blanc however is perfect for me, it matches almost perfectly with my skin tone and leaves my skin looking lovely and even! I don't get many spots and my skin is in fairly good condition although it does get dry sometimes and quite sensitive this foundation leaves me feeling good about my skin. I couldn't ask for a better foundation! Will definitely be re-buying this.

Nars sheer glow

I am quite happy with the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. It's a medium cover foundation with a good selection of colours. I am very pale and often have problems finding foundations pale enough, but the lightest shade works for me. The only thing I don't like is that the foundation clings to dry patches so I guess it would not work too well for people with dry skin.

Very good product, medium coverage, skin looks very flawless, but after couple of hours my face is little bit shiny, but this doesn't bother me at all.

A good foundation, but not as sheer or glowy as I expected.!

This is a good quality medium coverage foundation that is easily build-able to full coverage, use a little at a time or you might get that dreaded mask look. I have combination to oily skin, although the color matches my skin tone perfectly, after an 30 minutes or so it begins to oxidize and turning my face into a slightly darker shade - which looks weird as my neck is much lighter. I have tried several different primers to stop this happening but unfortunately, without success. Considering it's quite expensive price tag, I just expected a lot more for my money. For this reason, I most likely won't be repurchasing but just to be fair, I'll wait until next Spring and try it out when my skin is a little oilier.

Unsure about it

I have been wanting to try out the Nars Sheer Glow for such a long time, however now that I own it it has not turned out to my satisfaction. The problem is that I have quite dry skin right now and even though this foundation is supposed to work really well with that skin type, for me it doesn't. It awfully accentuates every dry patch on my skin (even if I exfoliate and moisturize before applying it), the finish is way more matte than I would have expected it to be and the staying power is not good either. However, I don't think this is a bad foundation, I guess it is rather the dry condition of my skin that makes it look not so nice. It probably is a decent product if you have normal skin and the shade range seems to be excellent, usually I choose the lightest shade available and and it turns out to still be a little too dark, but Siberia is really, really pale with a neutral, slightly yellow undertone.

I love this foundation! The coverage is great , looks flawless & lasts the distance on a night out. I have combination skin & would say the only issue is i can feel the greasiness on my chin & sides of nose after a while, but after reading the comments on the other option think I'll stick with this.

Great foundation

I have dry skin, and dry patches, so this foundation is great. I would not recommend this to people with combination skin. The foundation goes on like a dream, easy to blend in to the skin. And you can build up the coverage without looking weird. I love this foundation, I think it´s the best foundation I have tried. It leaves a natural finish

The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is a legendary foundation with a great colour variety and delicate consistency. Its longevity leaves a lot to be desired and its coverage is, well, sheer. I recommend

The best foundation in the world:)

I cant say how glad I am too have found this foundation, sounds like crazy, its just a foundation, but you know what I mean if you have tried it. My skin is combiation, its dehydraded in my cheeks, I have acne once a month, and acne scars on my chin. Its really shine on my nose and forehead. I dont get the really bad acne that I had, but when I had, it coverd really well. I had too have concealer on my big sports, but this coverd the small once perfect, without concealer. It still looked very natural, and felt like I had nothing at all on my skin. I set it with a loose powder on top and thats it The best thing about this foundation is( everything) - It covers really well - looks very natural, and like you have nothing on you skin - the formula is very light, but buildable, then it looks natural - staying power is great - your skin gets an really nice glow - it covers up sports, scars, red cheecks and veins amazingly hope this was hopeful:)

Nars Make up

It has good coverage conforms to the skin, leaves no shine and leaves skin hydrated. What I dislike is that it has po applicator but put some paste

love sheer glow

I love the Nars Sheer Glow because it works great for my oily skin, although its not claimed for oily skin. It matifies an covers the skin in a super natural way, so it doesn't look like you have any foundation on, but your skin looks way better than before. The colour range is quite good, cause all of the colours are great to cancel out any redness and against my expectations it stays quite a long time on my skin.For me, its the best foundation i've tried so far.

My HG foundation!!

I'm so in love with this product! Worth every penny. The name of this product implies that it provides a 'sheer' or minimal coverage but this is certainly not the case. It is the only foundation that I can wear and not have to apply concealer to my under eye area, spots or scars and yet, despite this high and flawless coverage, it never looks cakey! I have combination skin and am somewhere between a nc25 and nw25 and the colour Mont Blanc fits me perfectly.

Brilliant, air brushed finish

This foundation is great if you: - have yellow toned skin, if you don't there are still tons of colours - have quite good skin but just want an even finish - want a foundation that looks great in photos also... - it's used on editorials and runway shows world wide - no SPF, so it doesn't look pale in photos - beautiful satin finish - not to glowy - moisturises the skin
