Urban Decay Waterproof Mascara - Cannonball 11ml

I bought this mascara because I had been using the same mascara for years ( Chanel Inimitable) and decided I should try something new. My Chanel mascara tended to flake and hurt my eyes so I thought a waterpoof formula might be a nice change. I choose the cannonball mascara because it got lots of good reviews, many calling it their HG mascara. Upon first use I loved the cannonball mascara, I relayed my joy to my best pal and makeup junkie who pessimistically advised me that all mascaras are great for the first few uses... Alas she was right in this case, after about a week of use I found the mascara wand was very thick with product when removed from the tube. The mascara has tiny fibres in it which make the wand clumpy and make application difficult. I only use one coat of this mascara as it sits heavily on the lashes. It does make the lashes thicker but doesnt add any curl or length. I found it made the lashes too thick looking. It is long lasting and waterproof and I didn't find it irritating to my eyes. It has no smell. After about three weeks of use I got tired of this mascara. It didn't separate or define the lashes and was just very ordinary, my mam gave me a marks and spencer mascara that she got for free and I found it worked better than cannonball. Cost 1/3 of the price.

This mascara is one of the best waterproof ones I have used but it doesn't lenghten or define the lashes as well as others I have tried

Fantastic mascara! I have straight lashes, and this is the only mascara that holds my curl!!:) my HG mascara!!:)
