Benefit Roller Liner Review
Rebecca from our Content team took home the new Benefit eyeliner – as seen on our list of the best liquid eyeliners – to see how it would perform.
First Impressions
Housed in similar packaging to the Roller Lash Mascara, the Roller Liner is a slimline pen shape, with a felt tip applicator. This means it’s super easy to travel with (no spillages here!), and it’s easy to apply too.
Application
Thanks to its precise nib applicator, this Benefit eyeliner is quite adaptable to your needs. Rebecca could easily draw a really thin line, or make it super thick to suit – see the swatches below!
Rebecca applied it over a warm smokey eyeshadow look rather than straight onto skin. As it’s highly pigmented, it easily covered over the eyeshadow without any of the other pigment showing through.
Removal
The eyeliner hardly wore throughout the day (including a trip to the gym after work!), so Rebecca could easily check how this fared against makeup remover.
She used the Yes To Tomatoes Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton pad to gently swipe away the eyeliner. It was pretty easy to remove, and there were definitely no panda eyes the day after!
Benefit Reviews: The Results
Overall, Rebecca was pretty happy with the eyeliner, and knows it’ll be perfect for both on its own, or as part of a more glam smokey eye makeup look.
