At First Sight from the Nars A/W ’13 collection is one of the most divine palettes that they have ever created. Featuring pigment rich eyeshadows accompanied by a beautiful blusher and bronzer, you’ll be able to play around with the colours and create looks to suit both day and evening occasions.

For our first look we stuck to our instincts and went for a neutral smokey eye, perfect for a date or girly night out.

Starting with the lightest shade in the quad of eyeshadows, sweeping All About Eve across the entire lid.

Taking your blending brush and working in Bellissima, a cool mocha shade, from the outer eye and blending into the crease of your lid.

This last stage is where the smokey eye really comes to life. Take your blending brush again and lightly dab on some Condura and work in from the outer corner. Applying small amounts and building up the colour until you get the smokey eye you’re looking for. Bring this shade under your lower lashes and blend.

For added drama, we applied a slick flick of NARS Liquid Eyeliner to give this a stunning finish. Not forgetting your mascara, adding thickness with the Larger Than Life Volumising Mascara.
