Hi there! My name’s Laura and today I’m going to be doing a mini-tutorial for you using the Complete Bronzing Kit from Bellapierre. In the kit you get a Compact Bronzer in Starshine, a Mineral Compact Face & Body Bronzer, also in Starshine, a Fan Brush and a Super Lipgloss in the shade Vanilla Pink.
So, my foundation, brows and eyes have been done as I would do them normally but the rest is all down to the Complete Bronzing Kit
I started by taking the Compact Bronzer over my face, applying in the areas that the sun would naturally hit, so on the temples, top of the cheeks and the nose, as well as bringing it down my neck slightly, then blending it in. This bronzer is so gorgeous because even though it contains shimmer, it doesn’t translate as glittery on the face at all, but just adds a little something to lift the skin and make it look really healthy and glowing. It’s not ‘muddy’ looking, but it’ not orangey either meaning it’s not too much for pale skin but as it is very buildable, it would be just as great for darker skin tones too.
I then took the Mineral Compact Face & Body Bronzer, which being in the same shade as the regular Compact Bronzer means it all blends nicely, and apply is with the fan brush to the top of my cheek bones, and again down the nose- This one does have more of a shimmer to it so I’ve chosen to use it as a bit of a highlight and I think it looks gorgeous being used in this way. I also think this, being a face and body bronzer would look gorgeous dusted across your shoulders on a night out, or even during the day if you’re just that glamorous.
The Fan Brush is perfect for the application of a mineral product as it just picks up enough product and dusts it lightly over the area of use. Due to its shape, it’s also really easy to get into those tricky places that a regular brush would miss, like around the nose if you were to use it to apply powder there. It’s also really soft, doesn’t irritate my skin at all (which most brushes do) and washes easily without shedding.
Lastly, it’s lipgloss time. Now, I’m not generally the biggest lipgloss fan. When someone mentions lipgloss I just think of that horrid sticky texture that so many of them have, but this is absolutely gorgeous. It’s not at all sticky so you’re not going to get any of those hair-sticking-to-lips moments if it’s a bit windy as it so often is here, and the colour of this is just beautiful too. It really compliments the bronzed skin and is just such a lovely shade.
And there you have it, how I have gone about using Bellapierre’s Complete Bronzing Kit to create a bronzed Summer look.
