It does what it says!
This curl cleanser is a creamy conditioner basically. So the principle of oils dissolving oils is at work in this concept. I personally found it to be beautifully conditioning on my hair and totally protective, as though just been well conditioned. My only reservation is that from freshly washed, my scalp is left feeling already layered in oils. Hence needing to be rewashed after a day or so to prevent itchiness from too much oil on the scalp. I will try the blue bottle to see if it leaves less conditioner behind. Also you need a fair amount to cover all your scalp to cleanse every part.
