Experience a luxurious cleanse with Hydrea London's Honeycomb Sea Sponge.
Highly absorbent and silky soft, the Honeycomb Sea Sponge is the finest quality of natural sponge available; it resides in the Mediterranean where cooler sea temperatures create strong, dense sponges. Harvested and processed using old, traditional methods, the natural sponge will aid a luxurious cleanse, encouraging a rich lather to cocoon and cleanse skin.
These sponges can last over 2 years with normal care.
Sustainably harvested in Mediterranean Sea and hand processed in UK.
Rinse in warm water after every use and allow to dry naturally where air can circulate. Do not bleach, boil, machine wash or wring – just squeeze gently. To more thoroughly clean the sponge, soak it in a solution of one part warm water and one part white wine vinegar for up to one hour, or a couple of drops of Citricidal – a natural antibacterial agent made from grapefruit seeds. Rinse well and set the sponge out to air dry. This will keep the sponge fresh and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
The sea sponges will enlarge by approximately 10% when wet. As this is a natural product please check your sponge before use for any sea debris.
