Soft focus effect - matte but does not hide glow
5Miracle in a pot - it gives a great balance between a matte effect and a glowing effect. Have not broken out with this and it works well in photos by providing an even finish! No flash back from the camera either! I used to use the Laura Mercier but will stick to this due to its staying power! Make up stays put all day and I definitely notice the difference by the end of the day when I don't wear it! By working it into the skin, you can blur any harsh lines created by blush or bronzer but not hide their sheen! Also, use it before power blusher or bronzer to stop make up becoming concentrated in certain areas in order to achieve a more flawless and even finish! The only downside is the pot design, by removing the plastic cover the holes to the power below are exposed, which means that when I am not careful and I open it suddenly, white powder tends to go everywhere. Also, in the winter, I sometimes noticed it did not go well with dry skin - but what powder does?!
