buffing brush is excellent for applying foundation but size of the foundation brush is small for my opinion. it takes quite a long time to apply foundation with it.

My new essentials brushes

I'm not a professionnal make up artist, I am just found in make up. For me, the most important thing in make up is the skin and so foundation, from that point I like to test a lot of foundation brushes or foundations and all. In this kit, have four brushes very useful I'm using the buffing brush for foundation, it just makes your foundation looks absolutly gorgeous, and flawless ! love it The contour brush is an awesome and very precise contouring brush, I also love it ! The tiniest one, I like to use it for cream eye shadows, so you can just apply precisely and easierly ! Unfortunatly I'm not using very much the pointed foudation brush, as I already have some better pointed foundation brush, and this one is a bit small, but I like to use it to powder under my eye the concealer. or to apply some regular eyeshadows... PS : They do not loose any hairs : great thing when you wash them a lot.

The Real Techniques Core Collection Kit brushes are amazing! I mean, I'm in love with them! The buffing brush is so soft I use it every day and my foundation looks flawless. I will buy more of these brushes from Real Techniques.

GOOD SELECTION

FIrst of all, I want to point out I would give it a 5stars review if it had the stippling brush. Instead, the core collection includes a buffing brush, also for make up, which seems to be the main attraction, and becomes to the worst brush in the whole kit. In my opinion, this foundation brush has nothing to do with the stipplong brush, which I can´t recommend enough. The pointed brush is perfect for the lips...I never needed a lip brush till I tried this and discover the amazing finish it gives to your lips. I love it¡ The concealer brush, too smal for being a foundation brush, it´s amazing for an extra cover some areas, under or over make up. The countour brush is perfect obviously for contouring, but also for blushes; eve better than the RT blush brush, which is too big for this porpose. And now, the buffering brush...very quick when you´re in a hurry, gives you a pro finish, not airbrush, but quite good as well. In short, this kit is a basic that every girl should have...in addition, I would purchase the stippling brush, so you have an amazing brush collection.

Excellent brushes!

I have been blown away by these brushes, they are fantastic! I've -previously been using Eco Tools brushes, which I thought were more than adequate. However, after receiving my Real Techniques brushes they have been relegated! The brushes are soft but allow for accurate application. I have seen some people say that the foundation brush is a little small, but as I've got a smallish face I find it perfect. I like to apply my foundation roughly, buff in with the buffing brush and then apply a little more with the foundation brush where needed. The contour brush is great for applying cream contour; cream or powder blusher. It can apply a small line and then buff out for contour. I like it for blusher as it can be applied to a smaller area than a blusher or stippling brush. The detail brush is just perfect for applying concealer to small areas that need it! Overall I would wholeheartedly recommend these brushes!

Brilliant

The Real Techniques Core Collection Kit (face) is great, I bought this as a birthday present for my best friend but her birthday is in May so I can't wait to give it to her I'm sure she will be a very happy girl. The brushes look amazing, I have tried them out before myself and recommended them to her. They are amazing quality brushes and the case is brilliant as now I don't lose my brushes. I would never buy any other brushes now having tried real techniques core collection. The brushes are long lasting and the quality lasts for a very long time after many uses, altogether very impressed with the product. I would strongly recommend buying these brushes if you are looking at getting some new/better brushes.
