Okay product

It does not provide much colour, but it gives a light tint and it is moisturising. It is a nice easy everyday product, but as it does not provide with much colour.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is a gorgeous product. It actually feels like velvet when it glides on. The colour is amazing too.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil

I purchased the shade 'Dragon Girl', which is a pink-red. It's a beautiful colour, which gives complete opacity in one layer. However, another layer or two can be added to make the colour more red, rather than pink. Staying power is excellent, and it wears for 5-6 hours even with my habitual water drinking. In addition to this, the pencil form of it makes it remarkably easy to apply the colour cleanly. The only downside to this product is that because it is a matte formula, it is slightly drying, so I do not recommend wearing this product multiple days in a row.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is a great colour but the formula is drying and there is no pencil sharpener.

This colour is stunning, very unique plus, if you want a shiny look - stick a lip gloss over the top. Application is great, as you'd expect from Nars.

Red Square

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil was one of my biggest revelations this year and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes statement red lips. Although it is a pencil, it is very moisturising and long- wearing. I think it probably lasted me 5 or 6 hours very good! I will buy this pencil in at least 2 or 3 more shades!

Gorgeous lipliner and lipstick in one!

It's almost too good to be true: the colour is easy to apply and stays on your lips for ages without drying out. The colour "Never Say Never" is perfect for me - I'm "summer" - and it's not as matte as I had feared.

I was a bit hesitant before buying this product because it is quite expensive but it is definitely worth every penny. I have the shade 'Dolce Vita' which is a gorgeous rosy shade - natural but defining and it is great for everyday. The lip pencil stays on my lips for quite a while (even through eating/drinking) and it wears off evenly. A very high quality product and well worth the money, in my opinion.
