I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsSunday marks the start of ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!‘ and this year’s lineup has been announced. We’re already taking bets on what monkey business will be going down in the jungle, with Yvette Fielding and Brian Friedman providing some comic relief alongside the likes of Chelsea Boy Spencer Matthews and Union J’s George Shelley, who are bound to take the roles of Tarzan style heartthrobs!

All this talk of ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here‘ has got us thinking, if we were told we were heading out to the jungle for 2-3 weeks, what essentials would we take with us? As you know, the campers are only allowed to take one luxury item, and we’re not sure we could stick to just one. Thinking of leaving behind our bright lippies and bold liners and mascaras is pretty painful, not to mention coping without a good cleanser and moisturiser. Chances are, we won’t be asked to go into the jungle, but if we were, here’s what the HQhair team would suggest!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant

I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsThis wonder cream is a must have for all times, never mind when you’re stuck in the jungle with bugs, heat and no clean clothing or beauty products. With an extra helping of Vitamin E, the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant helps to revitalise skin and soothe chapped lips, rough areas, cuticles and nails, and burns and grazes – a must when living the jungle life! Bonus points go to this miracle product as you can also use it to shape your brows! Winner!

GLAMGLOW Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment

I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsHanging out in the jungle might sound pretty fun, but the heat and lack of water might be an issue for our skin. A luxury item should be just that, ‘luxury’! We think the GLAMGLOW Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment is the perfect way to get that spa feel – even if you are sharing it with the creepy crawlies! This mask combats dry and dehydrated skin, and has been dubbed a ‘thirst quenching hit in a jar’, sure to restore your peachy glow in no time! Don’t mind if we do!

Garnier Pure Active Light BB Cream

I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsIf you can’t bear to go bare, a BB cream is a must. Garnier’s Pure Active Light BB Cream is a one hit wonder for blurring imperfections and evening out skin tone. With 2% Salycilic Acid, this cream not only conceals but also works to banish blemishes and blackheads, all the while being lightweight and breathable. An added bonus? It also includes SPF15 to help protect your skin from sun damage whilst on your I’m A Celebrity adventure!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara

I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsA good set of lashes can make any face look slightly more ‘done’, whether you’ve got a full face of makeup or you’re going au-naturel. Falsies might not be ideal for jungle life, so instead we’re going for Rimmel’s Wake Me Up Mascara. For super curls and extreme lengths, this aptly coloured mascara is ideal – it even has added vitamins and cucumber extract to help revitalise and energise lashes, perfect for when you haven’t slept a wink in fear of waking up to a snake in the camp!

Mio Skincare’s Strong Is The New Skinny Kit

I'm A Celebrity HQhair EssentialsIf there is any way we can possibly get away with this being one item, it’s a definite must-have! The Mio Skincare Strong Is The New Skinny Kit contains three of Mio’s star products; The Activist Body Oil, Double Buff Dual Enzyme Exfoliator, and Future Proof Active Body Butter. The three combined are the perfect skincare essentials, with exfoliator to buff away that dead skin, body oil to keep skin supple and nourish, and body butter packed with antioxidents and vitamins to keep skin radiant. What more could you possibly need on your Amazonian adventure?!

What would you take into the jungle? Who do you think will win I’m A Celebrity this year? Let us know in the comments and over on Twitter & Instagram!

I'm a sucker for anything quirky or in fancy packaging. I love trying new beauty products on the market - the more obscure the better! Whether it's the latest innovation in skincare, or a shampoo in a shiny bottle, I want it and I'll always try and be the first to blog about it! My cocktail of choice is a bottle of gin. That counts, right?
